One-on-One Consultations (Individual)

Q: Is there a fee attached to Care Consultations?

A: Your initial 30-minute consultation is free. Afterward, there is a fee of $75/hour for subsequent meetings.

 

Q: What if I need more than an hour?

A: If you need more time and there is space on our schedule, you may extend your session for an additional 30 minutes at a cost of $25. Please keep in mind that there may be other hurting people scheduled for meetings behind yours and we want to be respectful to them and to you.

 

Q: Do I need to be on camera during the sessions?

A: Yes. Your Care Session is a virtual face-to-face engagement, much like any counseling meeting. We can make other arrangements for off-camera participation if you are having technical difficulties.

 

Q: When do I pay for my session?

A: Full payment is due prior to the beginning of your session.

Q: Am I charged if I cancel a Care Consultation?

A: There is no charge If you cancel at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session. Cancelations of less than 48 hours will be charged a $50 fee.

 

Q: What if I need a session outside of my normally scheduled time?

A: We will make every effort to accommodate additional sessions when needed. The same fee rate applies to these extra sessions.

 

Q: What if I want a refund?

A: As a general rule, no refunds are available once your Care Consultation begins. We may consider refunds in cases of technical failure or emergencies.

Q: Is there a fee attached to the live sessions?

A: Some sessions will be “pay only”, but many will be free. Please check the scheduled opportunities you are interested in for details.

 

Q: Do I have to have a computer to join the online sessions?

A: No. All session participants will be provided a meeting link via email that will allow them access by phone or tablet. The only consideration is that you will need to access your email from your preferred device.

 

Q: Can my children attend the Care Sessions?

A: No. Because of the adult nature of the content discussion, all participants must be at least 18 years old to attend our Care Sessions.

 

Q: Do I have to be on camera during the Care Sessions?

A: No. Being on camera is optional. You may attend in audio-only mode if you prefer.

 

Q: Will I be required to talk to the group?

A: No. In most cases, the group participants will submit questions and comments in chat during the session. If there is an opportunity for the group to have an open-mic discussion, there is no requirement to participate. Silence and reflection is allowed and encouraged.

 

Q: Will I be able to leave once the Care Group begins?

A: Yes. Your participation in our Care Groups is completely voluntary. Keep in mind that some of the discussion points may be upsetting and it is ok to display emotions. If at any point you feel overwhelmed, you are free to take a break.

 

Q: Will the sessions be moderated to limit bullying?

A: Yes. The session leaders will actively moderate and protect the conversation. NO bullying or verbal abuse of any kind will be tolerated and violators will be immediately blocked and banned from the group. Our goal is to provide a safe space for all participants.
